Empowering Young Girls Through Golf: The DP World Clubhouse
At the Sally Little Golf Trust, we’re proud to lead the way in creating greater access and opportunity for young girls through the game of golf. Through a meaningful collaboration with DP World, we launched the first-ever DP World Clubhouse in Cape Town — a dedicated facility located at the Sally Little Centre for Excellence.
Part of a global initiative transforming trade infrastructure into golf training hubs for underserved communities, the Clubhouse reflects a shared vision between the Trust and DP World. From a converted shipping container in Johannesburg to a fully equipped training facility built through DP World’s smart logistics network, this collaboration is designed to uplift and inspire.
The Clubhouse is more than just a building — it’s a safe, supportive space where girls receive coaching, mentorship, and opportunities to grow. DP World’s belief in our mission and investment in the future of women’s golf marked the beginning of something truly special. And this is only the beginning.
DRIVING RANGE
The Mayor’s Peninsula Driving Range is a well-maintained golf facility offering golfers of all levels a great practice environment. The range features ample hitting bays, quality practice balls, and a friendly atmosphere.
It’s a facility of over 300 metres of all grass and an ideal spot for honing your skills – full shot, chipping, bunkering, and putting areas – whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or a seasoned player refining your swing.
SALLY LITTLE GOLF TRUST
SLC4X is the hub for Little Golf Trust Girls Golf Programme and all Little Golf Trust Initiatives. The Little Golf Trust is dedicated to nurturing the potential of young girls by providing them with the skills and opportunities to excel in golf.
Founded by legendary golfer, Sally Little, the trust aims to inspire and empower the next generation of female golfers through mentorship, training, and support.
GOLF CLINICS FOR WOMEN
SLC4X is also the hub for Sally Little Golf Clinics for Women. These clinics aim to enhance participants’ golfing skills while leveraging the sport to foster business opportunities and cultivate customer relationships.
Participants can expect not only top-tier golf instruction but also a supportive environment conducive to networking and personal empowerment.
